They treat you awful! I got off a phone call when i was 5 weeks pregnant after having a miscarriage last year and the lady said she did not care and was not going to see me because i was not 8 weeks. Now 10 weeks pregnant and the supervisor called me stating that her employee complained because i was upset about not being able to be seen and she told me that my feelings did not matter so they didnt care and i need to seek help else where. They did not care that i was a high risk. Nor did they care when i made a complaint about their emploee! What kind of business do they run?

I became a patient almost 6 years ago after having my son. I was seen by Dr.Evelyn Caron so that I could have birth control. She mentioned just having my tubes tied instead of taking the pill. But I chose to do the pill. I have been going every two years for pap, but can only get one year at a time of the pill. The next time I went she asked again about why I want to take the pill and again that I should do something else for birth control and when I said no I'll just stay on the pill she said "so you'd rather have a fake period every month?" I didn't know what to think of that comment. Well this last time I called to get a refill of pills I was told although it's not time for a pap that I would still need to come in to get blood pressure and weight done before she would give me a prescription of birth control pills or I could go to my primary doc and then have them fax the weight and blood pressure over to Dr.Caron before she would give me more pills. So I went and had a full physical with my doctor and they faxed her the information, so now I took my last pill, I called Dr Caron at partners for woman's health in Exeter to ask them For the prescription of pills and that I had the blood pressure and weight a full physical done and Dr.Caron's nurse says well she's still not going to give you any pills unless you come in for an office visit. So I said that I was told I could get my vitals done at my doctors, which is the same people core physicians and that she would give me a prescription, then she replies with this to me, " pills are not good for you, you are 40 years old and carrying extra weight, so unless you come in for an office visit she's not going to give you a prescription for the pills"

the first time i went here was about 6 mos ago for an exam and to have my iud removed. I saw a nurse practitioner who was very pushy and demeaning about my decision to go BC free ("well as long as you're ok with getting pregnant" she said... so rude!!) and frankly my choice of birth control or lack there of is none of her dang business! i went again yesterday for what i thought was a UTI... the doctor had me on the table for an exam and was apparently about to put a catheter in me with NO warning whatsoever. luckily i caught on and stopped the procedure before it started. again, no one told me i was about to have a catheter shoved in me, nor why she was doing it. Turns out it was to find out if i have a condition of which there is NO treatment anyways, and which can be diagnosed without the use of a catheter. that was the last straw. i will not go back here. oh not to mention i wait over an hour every time i go. i gave two starts instead of one because the girl who usually checks me in is very nice.

Aside, from a not so friendly receptionist from time to time, and a quick less than 10 minute visit from your doctor ( I waited an xtra 20 minutes after being called in to then been seen in,less then 10). I apparently had the "audacity" to refuse a particular test at 28 weeks. (Gesitanial diabtetis). The nurse brought it up, and and I said, oh I won't need that. Her eyes bulges and rudly commented, "your going,to have to talk to the doctor). Mind you I was there to see the midwives but they are overseen by the OBS. ONCE the news was brought to the midwives, she asked me again, and I said, I,don't think its necisarry her comment was, our doctor s won't let you do that. Now, aside from whether or the test is strongly recommend,,needed...the idea that a refusal by me the patient, is simply meet with a, "you can't do that" wasn't very appealing to me. How about we take a minute and look over my chart, dicusss my options?..I was so disgusted I switched back to my old OB. The best part is at 28 weeks, after I signed my records release, they cancelled my next apt, and that was that. No call, curiosity curticy call to see, what happened. If you want doctors\midwives to listen to your concerns, have a more then simply medical approach to your care, I highly suggest not going here.

The staff at the front desk are the most inconsiderate and uncompassionate people I have ever met.

I feel like they are rude. I feel like they only want to keep charging and it's all about money. Why tell me I can go have the blood pressure and weight done at my primary if they are going to turn around and tell me I'm 40 and over weight and no we still will not give you your birth control? I did what was asked and then they insult me and tell me I'm too old and over weight to take birth control? My blood pressure is perfect and always has been, I've been on this pill for almost 6 years never any issues. It's like this Dr just wants me to have my tubes tied because she feels like I'm 40, over weight and shouldn't be taking the pill, well then why did she give me them in the first place? So since I've been going there I've been told I'm having fake periods in between my pill packs and now today 3/31/17 I'm 40 and over weight, so I guess when you are 40 and over weight you can't take birth control anymore? By the way I won't be 40 until August. I'm changing over to harbor womans Health in Portsmouth. I've been there once and they were very polite and kind, they never said my periods were fake, or that I'm too over weight or old for birth control like Dr Caron and her nurse said to me at partners for woman in Exeter. Seems a bit rude to tell your patient those 3 things. As if I don't know how old I am or how much I weigh! Smh I wonder if they feel better about themselves when they treat people like that?
