This is one of the best bike stores anywhere. They know their stuff and are as honest as the day is long.
I moved to Exeter 3 years ago and go to Exeter Cycles for all my bike parts. They fixed up my old hardtail bike with a new front fork last year and I've purchased other parts and clothes as gifts for family and friends from them over the years. The staff is very knowledgeable and always gives you the time of day, treating you like you're buying a $4k bike even if your just buying a light. Great selection of tools, parts, clothing, you name it.
They take the time to make sure that you get the right bike and then stand behind it with great service
Outstanding new bike buying experience at Exeter Cycles. Through several visits to evaluate my options and ultimately select and fit my bike John and his staff went above and beyond to make this a great experience. I would recommend them to anyone. They are not the closest shop to where I live - my local shop didn't seem to want to invest the time to make the sale. I am more than happy with my new Cannondale Synapse and credit John and his team for treating me like their most important customer through the entire process.
Last summer I had my Lefty fork stop working. I went to them because of great I had been treated when I was looking for a job. They sent it out and even hooked me up with shop employee discount because I worked at shop that didn't carry Cannondale. They were cool enough to tell me the prices about getting my fork fixed and roughly how long it would be to get back from Cannondale. These guys are by far my favorite shop on the seacoast! Keep it up guys.
