I give thanks to Saint Anthony's Bakery for its Thanksgiving All Year Long sandwich on store baked 7 Grain Bread. I love this sandwich but never found perfection until this one. The homemade dressing made it unforgettable and the bread held up when I ate the second half of the sandwich the next day! I am looking forward to my next visit and resisting temptation so I can try another sandwich which I am sure will also be awesome! And you cannot find a friendlier or more charming spot to share lunch with a friend.
Came in a couple of times for its bakery goods and picked up a salad once. The food was good but nothing special.
The bakery is in an old building by the river's entrance at the bottom of Water St.

This is the most friendly establishment. They have all fresh homemade baked good and food. I love coming here every morning , this is a must go .
There's some tables to sit and eat or you can order take away.
St. Anthony's bakery is wonderful. I look forward to visiting when I am visiting from Hoboken NJ. Anthony makes the best egg sandwiches and cinnamon buns. Anthony and his staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit if your travels bring you to Exeter!
It's pricey at the cafe and the portions aren't that big.
Once, a girl offered a discount near closing but none was offered after future visits.
